He has been shot in the face with pistols, rifles, shotguns and cannons, blown up with dynamite, had safes, anvils and pianos dropped on him, and suffered no appreciable harm.īoomstick: This means that Sam is effectively unkillable. Like his opponent, he’s a master at the use of the Toon Force. Wiz (quietly): Sounds like someone I know.īoomstick: And he was also short, stupid and easily goaded into ill-advised actions. He was loud, he was insulting, and he was heavily armed. Wiz: By 1945, the men that made the Bugs Bunny cartoon shorts realized that Elmer Fudd was just too soft to be a good opponent for the rascally rabbit, so animator Friz Freleng introduced a new opponent, Yosemite Sam.īoomstick: Sam was a perfect target for dear ol’ Bugs. Toon Force is a mystical reality-warping force that allows its users to avoid harm in lethal situations, and produce items from seemingly thin air – if it’s done for comedic purposes.īoomstick: Hey Wiz, quick. Also, Quick Draw McGraw is also a Toon Force user. It made a meaty “Kabong” sound, so Quick Draw referred to his guitar as his “Kabonger.” It is just plain AWESOME! Wiz: And when fighting crime, Quick Draw would assume the guise of a masked vigilante, named El Kabong.īoomstick: That’s right, wearing a black hat, mask and cape, El Kabong would swing out on a rope, and whack the bad guy on the head with his handy dandy four-string guitar. He also employed a rather strange blood hound named Snuffles, who for some reason was not anthro-po-po-peed. He ambled cluelessly from adventure to adventure with his sidekick Baba Looey, and an burro. Wiz: Quick Draw McGraw was an anthropomorphic cartoon horse who had his own television show from 1959 to 1962.īoomstick: Quick Draw himself was a cowboy in the Olde West (trademark), often the sheriff of an unnamed town. Wiz: The lawman is Quick Draw McGraw, sheriff and all-around do-gooder.īoomstick: And the villain is Yosemite Sam, the “roughest, toughest he-man stuffest hombré that's ever crossed the Rio Grande.”īoomstick: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle. Wiz: That’s right, we’re going back to the Old West, as presented by such companies as The Warner Brothers, and Hanna-Barbera.īoomstick: Yep, and were pitting one of the great lawmen of those day against one of the vilest of outlaws. You know, when men were men.and sometimes rabbits.and definable critters. This Death Battle brings together two of the Old West’s greatest gunmen.OK, one gunman and one gun-horse!īoomstick: Let me take you back to the days of yesteryear. In the Old West, situations often came down to two men with their six-shooters, settling their differences in the middle of the street.

When transcript and CDS pairs are merged, the coding exons are rendered in dark green, and non-coding regions (i.e. When all features are expanded, gene bars are colored green, non-coding RNAs and mRNA features are colored purple, and CDS features are colored red. Track display settings include multiple rendering options as described below. You may also have options to show only variants that are part of the CCDS project or have been designated as the RefSeq or MANE Select variant. The Hide model transcripts feature hides transcript models predicted using NCBI's Gnomon algorithm. The option Hide non-coding will hide non-coding transcripts or non-coding genes or pseudogenes from view, so that only protein-coding transcript variants are displayed. Several options may be available for NCBI or Ensembl gene annotation tracks. The track display settings dialog can be accessed by clicking on the track title, the gear icon on the right side of the track, or by selecting the track within the Tracks configuration menu. Intron features tracks contain additional track display options, including the ability to sort splice junction features based on the number of spliced reads or by the splice direction (strand). Hover over the feature to see a tooltip that provides additional information, including the end coordinates and intron length. The number of RNA-seq reads supporting the splice junction is reported for each feature. The ends of the features correspond to splice junctions, while the arrow corresponds to the direction of splicing. Intron feature tracks display exon-exon splice junctions based on an analysis of RNA-seq data. Changing these options may result in showing more or fewer features in the track, depending on the underlying source of data in the track. "Show all" "Show parent, Merge children" "Show children, not parent" "Show parent, not children" "Superimpose children on parent". The Feature linking options provide different display views for tracks containing parent and child features i.e. The option "All features on a single line" alway shows the data as a histogram, while the option "All features are expanded" always shows discrete features. By default, most feature tracks are set to "Pack features if necessary", where individual features are shown when zoomed in and the data is displayed as a histogram when zoomed out. Users can set the display resolution using the Rendering Options dropdown menu. in RNA and coding region features) indicate the direction of splicing. White arrows inside features indicate the direction of the feature relative to the top-level sequence. Protein feature or other annotated feature Specialized rendering for SNPs, structural variants, and segmental duplications are described in the later sections of this documentation. These features often derive from files formatted as BED, bigBED, GFF3, GTF, ASN.1, and similar formats. This section describes the rendering used for gene features, RNA and protein models, regulatory sites, and most other feature types. The NCBI Genome Workbench uses similar graphical renderings. For example, if you’re using a Dropbox sync you must authenticate to the same Dropbox account, use the same sync store name, and use the same value for the encryption key. You must set up the same sync location on both devices. This is covered in the in-application help of both apps as well as their manuals. Syncing is always set up in DEVONthink’s Preferences > Sync or DEVONthink To Go’s Settings > Sync: Locations. Only imported or copied databases will sync as they are true copies of the database with the same internal identifier. Note: You cannot sync two databases that were created separately but have the same name. Possible sync locations are cloud services like iCloud, Dropbox, or a WebDAV service or server, or another device running DEVONthink or DEVONthink To Go. On an iOS/iPadOS device, you don’t have the option to copy the database in the same way, so you need to import the database from an active sync location in DEVONthink To Go.You can import the database from an active sync location instead and regularly sync it so the two copies are always in the same state. However, unless you’re using DEVONthink’s sync, the content of the two copies will soon differ. On a Mac, you can copy the database to another Mac via external hard drive.Every device has its own local copy of a database and sends changes to other copies of the database through sync. The first thing to understand is that there is no “copy” of a database in the cloud nor are you “connecting” to the database on another device. In order to have this happen you need to sync the databases in DEVONthink and/or DEVONthink To Go. But you want to have the same database in the same state on another Apple device - again, Mac or mobile. It all starts with this basic situation: An Apple device, Mac or mobile, has a database. Initial ConceptsĪs detailed in the chapter In & Out > Sync of the documentation, syncing is actually a simple process. Here are some tips and things to understand about syncing. When it comes to syncing in DEVONthink and DEVONthink To Go, some people wonder or get confused about how to “get my databases on both devices”. This episode was aired on September 7, 2019.
Use grenades to distract the creatures, and then walk quietly (they track sound) around the ledge until you're out of harm's way. This habitat contains two large tentacle creatures that you really don't want to deal with.Make your way to the hallway via the door to the left, and outside to yet another habitat. You can take the elevator if you want, but it's basically a dead end with ammo and health to be found. To the right are large doors leading to an elevator leading upstairs to the left are some stairs leading to a door and another hallway filled with crates (and goodies). Take it up and you'll run into a room with a few aliens. Through the door, you'll find another small lift. Kill the headcrabs in the room, and then exit the room via the other side, avoiding the barnacles. Continue through a red room with barnacles hanging everywhere. It would not be a bad idea to stock up on ammo at this point - it will regenerate after a few seconds, so don't be in a hurry to leave. Kill the aliens and then cross the room, using the grapple to attach to the alien plants. You'll need the grapple to cross this room, but it will be fairly hard with three aliens spitting acid at you. You'll be confronted with a greenish room with alient ammo growing all over the walls. There's another doorway in the habitat floor - shoot out the glass, work your way around the ledge of the habitat, drop down and head through the doorway. When you get off the elevator, make your way past some rubble, through a doorway, and around past some aliens overlooking another alien habitat. One path leads to an elevator going down, the other leads to a door somewhat blocked by a yellow construction sign. Make your way around to a fork in the hallway.Jump on the door and enter the upper hallway. There's another elevator opening with a broken door providing a small platform to jump on.
